There is no magic formula or secret sauce to being free of anything or clear on everything. "Progress over Perfection" is a reasonable goal. I believe in balance over extremes and self-compassion to manage expectations and experiences in a positive light…“Win or learn... there is no lose!”

Dr Rob's Overview
Robert (Rob) Reyna Olivares, PhD, is a Certified Professional Coach and the owner of The Doctor Rob Coachsulting LLC, professional services specializing in holistic leadership development, consulting, and higher learning. His practice merges extensive career experience with multidisciplinary education, certifications, and a diverse personal background to guide emerging leaders in achieving personal and professional growth and balance. In addition, Dr. Rob offers consulting and instruction in a variety of business-related fields.
With 30 years of experience from stocking shelves to senior and executive leadership roles across sales, marketing, transformation, and product innovation, Olivares has worked at notable CPG and technology companies including Nabisco, Pepsi, RNDC, and most recently Brandmuscle in Chicago. At Brandmuscle, as Executive Vice President, he played a key role in business expansion, exit planning, and the successful sale of the private equity owned company in 2024.
Olivares holds a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA in Business Management, a PhD in Organizational Leadership, and an Executive Education Mini-MBA in Digital Marketing. His certifications include Professional Life Coaching, Business Strategy, Design Thinking, and Improving Financial Performance.
Committed to community service, Olivares has been actively involved with various organizations such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of San Antonio, SAISD Foundation, SA River Foundation, SA Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and as a Southwest School of Art Board of Trustees supported the merger with UTSA. He was recognized as one of San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 professionals in 2010 and a member and mentor of Leadership San Antonio 34, 40, and 49.
Rob enjoys a well-rounded personal life alongside his professional achievements. He keeps active through running, enjoys spending time with his dog, and plays guitar. His commitment to personal growth is evident in his continuous pursuit of learning opportunities.
